In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “you” means the person or organisation using the site.

Permitted use of the site

You may read, print and download material from this site for your own reference or for a project you are specifying, quoting or building. You may quote short extracts in a tender, submittal or specification document provided you credit MMT Acoustix and do not alter the figures.

You may not:

• republish, sell or licence material from this site, or present it as your own or as another brand’s
• scrape, harvest or systematically copy the site or its images by any automated means
• use the site or our contact forms to send unsolicited advertising or marketing, or to collect contact details for that purpose
• introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the site’s operation or security

We may withdraw access to the site from anyone who breaches these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photographs, drawings, diagrams, layouts, page designs and downloadable documents, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected under Indian and international copyright law.

MMT Acoustix® is a registered trademark. Our product names and the get-ups associated with them are ours, and nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them. Any other company or product name that appears here belongs to its own owner and is used only to identify that company or product.

Product information and acoustic data

We publish specifications and test figures so that a specifier can compare materials on a like-for-like basis. Please read them with the following in mind.

How figures are labelled

Where a figure comes from a third-party laboratory, we name the standard it was tested to. Where a figure comes from our own development lab, it is labelled as an in-house or indicative value rather than a certified one. Absorption coefficients and NRC values are measured under the mounting condition stated in the report, and a different mounting will give a different result.

What a figure does and does not tell you

An absorption rating describes how much sound a material takes out of a room. It says nothing about how much sound the material blocks between two rooms. A transmission loss or STC rating is measured on a complete laboratory partition, not on a single layer in isolation, and the result achieved on site depends on the whole construction, on workmanship and on flanking paths around the partition.

No design advice

Nothing on this site is an acoustic design, a noise assessment or a certification that a given room will meet a given criterion. Product guidance we give in response to an enquiry is offered in good faith on the information supplied to us. Responsibility for the acoustic design of a project, and for verifying that a chosen material meets the project specification, rests with the project’s consultant or designer.

Changes and errors

Products are developed over time, so specifications, dimensions, finishes and availability may change without notice. We take care to keep this site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of error or omission. Always confirm the current specification with us before you rely on it for a tender or an order.

Quotations, orders and supply

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Prices, lead times and stock positions shown or discussed are indicative until we issue a written quotation.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. A contract of sale comes into existence only when we accept your purchase order in writing. Supply is then governed by the terms recorded on our quotation, order confirmation and invoice, which prevail over these Terms of Use in the event of any conflict. Warranty cover, where offered, is as stated in those documents.

Samples are provided to show general appearance and character. Natural variation in colour, texture and grain between a sample and a production batch is normal and is not a defect.

Links to other sites

This site links to our retail store at mmtacoustixonline.com, to our social media profiles, and occasionally to third-party pages. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies and we are not responsible for their content or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

You may link to our home page or to a product page provided you do so fairly, do not imply any association or approval that does not exist, and do not frame our pages within your own site.

Availability of the site

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for maintenance or business reasons, normally without notice. Subject to that, we will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site or your reliance on its content.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with this site, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to INR 10,000. Liability arising from a contract of sale is governed by the terms of that contract, not by this clause.
